Nuala asked me to collaborate with her on 10 pieces for the Seed Gallery Annual Christmas Show 2018. Ten plywood shapes are given to 30 artists. Each year a different shape is used. Nuala chose a semi-transparent lime colour to paint the shapes with, and then passed them to me to come up with something to add. At the time I was making small marquetry brooches and it seemed appropriate that a selection of these be mounted on the lime bases. She named them Grafts.
